Westbrook School

Student Councillors

The 2015 Student Councillors are an enthusiastic bunch of children from Years 4,5 and 6 that act as student leaders within Westbrook School.  They are led by Mrs. Weinberg and two co presidents, Hollie Cooke and Zach Shelley.  There are 20 councillors in total and their role involves the following responsibilities:

Developing their own leadership skills and those of others.

Being role models to other students.

Communicating with their own and other classes about Student Council projects.

Seeking ideas from the student body on improvements that can be made in the school.

Representing Westbrook School at functions and presentations.

Serving the Community.

Raising funds for the school and other worthwhile community organisations.

Presenting the citizenship awards at our fortnightly school assemblies.

Helping with gala day.

Collecting and emptying the paper recycling bins on a weekly basis.
