EMERGENCY EVACUATION DRILL
12 Jun 2026

We had an emergency evacuation drill this morning at 10.30am. This is one of the things we have to do twice a year.
The children were calm and everything went smoothly indeed.
Ask your child all about it this afternoon. ☺️

SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY EVENT
8 Jun 2026

As the event was called off last week, we will run our school cross country event in the original format this WEDNESDAY 10TH JUNE, so that all of our students can put their training to good use.

The mad keen runners, who braved the rain on the day, already know who is going to the CBOP event as this was determined last week. All of this week's winners will earn a certificate.

Thank you for your understanding.

Westbrook School - Westbrook School Cross Country
2 Jun 2026

Good afternoon,

The forecast for tomorrow is not great. Unfortunately, the deadline for entries to the Central Schools Cross Country is also tomorrow. As such, we have decided to allow those children who are keen to qualify to brave the elements and run the event tomorrow in true cross-country style.

We will run the interested senior children (Years 4-6) tomorrow at the times listed below.  Ages are taken from how old they are on 31st December, 2025.

8 Year olds 9:15am

9 Year olds 9:30am

10/11 Year olds 9:45am

If your child has indicated to their teacher they are keen to participate in the hopes of qualifying for the CBOP Champs, please send them along with their running gear and a change of clothes tomorrow (in case they get wet).

We will run our school cross country event in the original format next Wednesday 10th June, so that all of our students can put their training to good use. The only difference is that the results from next week's event will not qualify them for the CBOP event (as this will be determined tomorrow).

Thank you all for your support and understanding.
